This story took place in the late 1970s. Geoff took his 2 daughters to the local WIMPY in Eastbourne. He didn't have enough money to buy one for everyone or maybe that is what people did back then compared to now where everyone has their own. He bought one to share with several spoons. He was talking so much he didn't notice that his daughters kept eating the giant dessert until there was just a bit left.... at the bottom!

We have very fond memories whenever we see a branch of WIMPY (quite rare these days) or when we see a knickerbocker glory on the ice-cream sundae menu!
